5 Bible Study Hacks that Will Change Your Life

Bible study can be tricky. I remember there was a solid year there where I was reading my bible every night. That was just reading though, and I never felt that I was taking anything away from it. Especially with how terrible my memory is. Then, the times when I would sit down to study I would have no idea where to start. Yet, Bible study is such an important aspect of our lives! It's not just where we receive guidance for ourselves and our families, but it's where we receive COMFORT and love through the word of God. It's where we learn what we need to teach, and how we need to help each other. So, I searched the internet for you and found some tips and tricks courtesy of some wonderful Youtubers. Let's get this show on the road!

Bible Study Bullet Journal Set Up | Elyssa Nalani

When I first heard about bullet journaling, I thought it was just another one of those crazes, and I dismissed it. THEN upon more research into the origination of the bullet journal system I ended up falling in love, and now carry my bullet journal with me everywhere. Mine is a bit more on the functional side than on the creative side but that's what is so great is you can do anything with them. Something that has intrigued me is applying bullet journaling to scripture study. Elyssa shows us how she does it in this video.

Now, I did have the video start a bit later as the beginning is a bit long. One important piece of info missed in the beginning is that she recommends a book Women of the Word by Jen Wilkin.  You can click on the title to purchase it. It's NOT an affiliate link, I just figured I'd include it for you all. Now on to the video.

Elyssa Nalani runs the blog elyssanalani.com. Her goal is to help others  live life "intentionally, artfully, and faithfully."

Perhaps I'm trying to cross-reference other scriptures or notes, or trying to write a personal experience/understanding that relates to the scripture. Running out of room can be super frustrating. In this video, Jason shows us how to add pages to our scriptures so that we can have plenty of space to study.
