My DIY Teacup Flower Arrangement

In today's post, I'll show you how to make an ultra sweet cottage core teacup flower arrangement.

The cool night air drifts through an open window. An instrumental record titled "A Night in Paris" spins on my record machine. It's a Saturday night, and I am preparing for my Sunday and with it the impending end of the weekend. I set down my completed teacup flower arrangement on my antique walnut vanity and move it here and there until I like the setting. One of my favorite ways to wind down, or spend a few free moments in my

day is arranging flowers. I'm not an artist like the incredible florists that flood my Instagram feed with they're work. Not by a long shot! However, there is something so soothing about feeling the stems, the leaves, the velvety petals under my fingertips. So one night I gathered some dainty flowers, and a favorite tea cup, and arranged to my hearts content. In today's post, I'm going to show you how to do the same thing through some wonderful bloggers, and my own arranging!

This seriously could not be easier. Find a pretty teacup and saucer, fill the cup with water, then snip a flower off its stem and float it in the water in the teacup! So easy, so affordable and so elegant.

This is what you will need:

A block of green foam soaked in water until the bubbles stop rising to the surface and it’s super heavy.

A tea cup/saucer/plate or a coffee cup

A bunch of roses – I got mine at the supermarket, or you might have some growing in your garden

Snips for cutting roses
